Workshops
Heritage Homeschool Support is here to support you and your family along your homeschooling journey. These workshops were offered in Spring of 2024, and we are pleased to share them now with you. We pray that each time you watch, you gather the information and nuggets of wisdom and experience you need at whatever stage of homeschooling you find yourself.
Workshop #1
California allows homeschooling in the state using a few particular methods. We discuss those as well as their pros & cons, benefits and trade-offs. We wrap up with documenting student work and record keeping for our homeschool.
Workshop #2
Before we jump into spending a lot of money on curriculum, it is important to consider your children's learning styles and knowing the corresponding instructional strategies. We learn how to assess those learning styles and direct you to appropriate instructional strategies. In addition, we review a variety of educational methodologies and how to implement them with your children.
Workshop #3
So now you are a homeschooling family! What does that look and feel like? How do you want your family and home to function? What are the bigger spiritual concerns about raising the whole child and training them up in the way they should go? We tackle big and little pieces of the homeschooling family journey.
